CBD for Pets!

CBD has been anecdotally proven to be just as effective for animals. In fact, all mammals have a built-in endocannabinoid system and – as most of us love our furry companions – we want to give them the best possible care and nutritional products. As you might imagine, many people are increasing the quality of their pets’ lives by incorporating CBD into their daily routine.

Our “For Pets” CBD oil is a natural product made with quality ingredients. You can be totally confident in giving these products to any of your pets, simply by following the appropriate guidelines on dosage and frequency.

We make it easy to start your pet’s CBD program because all our products contain 1000 mg of CBD. You can then choose Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum or THC Free. Full Spectrum products include a legal amount of THC and have a more-distinctive flavor. Broad Spectrum is more refined than Full Spectrum and, as a result, contains less THC and has a less distinctive flavor. As the name implies, THC Free contains no THC and has little or no taste compared to other versions. All versions are enhanced with natural Salmon flavor.

You should consider the opinion/input from your veterinarian and your pet’s current health when deciding on the appropriate product. In most cases, the Broad Spectrum and THC Free versions are the best place to start. If your pet is larger and suffers from stiff joints or other more-severe issues, you may want to choose the Full Spectrum product.

To begin your Pets’ CBD program, we recommend that you start with 1 mg per every 10 pounds your pet weighs. That is approximately 1 drop out of the dropper, and it can be given directly to your pet, or mixed in with food or water. This starter dosage can be given 1-2 times per day, and you should maintain this dosage for a couple weeks to judge your pet’s reaction to the CBD regimen.

Depending on their level of activity and the severity of their symptoms, you may want to increase to a Medium dosage (2 drops per 10 pounds of weight) or a High Dosage (3 drops per 10 pounds of weight) up to two times per day. Again, we recommend starting at a lower dosage and increasing only after you have seen how your pet reacts to CBD.

Remember, that when it comes to CBD, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. It will probably take some experimenting to find the right amount to give your own pet. Don’t worry! CBD is safe and natural, so it is not a problem if your pet gets a little more (or a little less) than needed while you figure things out. Just make sure to keep an eye on their symptoms and their reaction, and be ready with another dropper when they need it!
